Finance Head Role Overview:

The Finance Department oversees all financial aspects of the organization. This position requires a strong leader to oversee and manage the department's daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring effective collaboration and resource integration within the department.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accurate and timely statutory reporting and compliance with organizational protocols.
  • Prepare monthly reports detailing performance against annual budgets and other significant matters for the board's attention.
  • Monitor management reporting functions, including profitability, revenues, and pricing tariffs set by billing models.
  • Implement budgeting and forecasting models, funding cash reporting, and working capital management to optimize unit performance.
  • Identify, prioritize, and minimize risks in a proactive manner, regularly reviewing and addressing concerns with the corporate office.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, ensuring compliance with group policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate taxation policies are adopted, including corporate, VAT, and tax planning.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contribute to commercial negotiations.
  • Motivate and lead the finance function to achieve agreed targets for company performance.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification with over 12 years of experience.
  • Proven experience in the hospital/healthcare domain.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi languages.
  • Strong communication skills, observational, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and handle emotionally charged situations.
  • Resilience and empathy.
