About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting investment banking firms in various tasks, such as preparation of pitch books, conducting benchmarking analysis, company comparables, precedent transaction analysis, databases, screening industry studies, ad-hoc research, and handling recurring requests as per client requirements
  • Handling responsibilities such as allocating work, running quality checks on deliverables, training and guiding team members, maintaining efficiency in ensuring adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs), and conducting internal client communication
  • Providing effective, constructive, timely, and objective feedback to team members for their overall grooming and development

Requirements

  • About 8-12 years of relevant experience in investment banking
  • Graduation (BTech / BA / BBA / BBE / BCom, etc) from a reputed institute, MBA in finance, master's degree with majors in economics or accounting, chartered accountant, chartered financial analyst, or any equivalent degree
  • Strong accounting and finance skills
  • Knowledge of database tools such as FactSet, Thomson ONE, Capital IQ, Factiva, and Bloomberg
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Strong strategic management capabilities, highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop innovative solutions
  • Proactive contribution to firm's goals and mission
  • Ability to challenge current thinking by implementing new ways of working
  • Ability to ensure timely completion of tasks within areas of responsibility
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An attentive and active listener
