HVAC Design Expert

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design Expert to join our team.

The role involves designing and preparing working drawings for HVAC systems in commercial and light industrial buildings. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering designs within budgeted productivity norms, ensuring compliance with contract documents, and coordinating with other services.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Preparation of accurate HVAC working drawings per project standards;
  • Coordination with civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting layouts;
  • Resolution of technical issues with site teams;
  • Maintenance of ISO documentation and drawing logs;
  • Support for quantity take-offs and drawing approvals;
  • Monitoring of productivity and assistance in QA/QC processes;
  • Identification of additional work and notification to the Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess strong HVAC design knowledge, including chillers, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, ventilation, and smoke control. Familiarity with GCC codes and Civil Defence requirements is also essential. Proficiency in HVAC calculations and software, such as HAP, is required. Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks is a plus. Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills are necessary for success in this role.

In terms of education, a B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, along with HVAC training certification. If you have a passion for HVAC design and meet the requirements outlined above, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
