Business Intelligence Developer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with expertise in data analytics platforms to play a critical part in the migration of enterprise data solutions from traditional systems to cloud-based platforms, ensuring business continuity, data integrity, and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, working closely with data architects, developers, and business stakeholders to drive strategic decisions and foster collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work with business stakeholders to understand and collate the analytics and reporting requirements.
  2. Analyze and conduct feasibility studies of the requirements.
  3. Collaborate with the capabilities team to Identify the source systems, source data set, source tables needed to fulfill the requirements.
  4. Convert the functional requirements to technical solution.
  5. Create detailed business requirement documents (BRD) and functional design document Collaborate with data modeler and data engineers to develop the technical solution. (FD).
  6. Perform Functional Unit Testing of the solution.
  7. Support Business teams for completion of User Acceptance Testing.
  8. Facilitate communication between business and IT.
  9. Support deployment of technical solution to production.
  10. Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  11. Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance in the new Snowflake environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. 4+ years of experience in data analytics or data engineering roles.
  3. Understand Supply Chain business processes.
  4. Experienced in working on Analytics related projects and implementation.
  5. Good exposure to SAP ERP systems like ECC or S/4HANA
  6. Understand data modelling concepts (HANA Modelling would be added advantage).
  7. Ability to identify relationship between data sets.
  8. Exposure to SQL queries and ability to query data for analysis/troubleshooting.
  9. Exposure to BI reporting tools
  10. Excellent communications skills, written and verbal.
  11. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
