Seeking a proficient Test Automation Specialist to spearhead our data analytics endeavors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated scripts in Python to build and simulate a Golden Model within SQL Server, ensuring seamless data validation and transformation logic.
  • Create and validate synthetic test data using appropriate Python-based frameworks, such as YData-Synthetic, SDV (Synthetic Data Vault), Gretel-Synthetics, SynthCity, or DoppelGANger.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure adequate test coverage, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support efficient delivery and deployment of high-quality software products.
  • Identify, track, and document data-related defects and inconsistencies, employing analytical skills to drive informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to the design of reusable SQL-based test frameworks and strategies, promoting scalability and maintainability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience in test automation, with a focus on data validation and transformation logic.
  • Proficiency in Python, particularly in at least one of the following synthetic data generation frameworks: YData-Synthetic, SDV (Synthetic Data Vault), Gretel-Synthetics, SynthCity, or DoppelGANger.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts, including data modeling and query optimization techniques.
  • Experience in CI/CD environments and integrating test scripts into automated pipelines, leveraging tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with GE Plant Applications, which would be an added advantage in this role.
  • Familiarity with MS SQL Server, although not mandatory, is highly desirable.
