Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MongoDB Database Administrator to manage large-scale, distributed environments. Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and managing MongoDB in various settings, as well as handling replication, sharding, backups, patching, and upgrades.

The ideal candidate will have strong performance tuning skills, experience with Linux scripting, and proficiency in tools such as Ops Manager, Cloud Manager, Ansible, Prometheus/Grafana. They will also be able to collaborate with DevOps and app teams for integration and tuning, automate routine tasks using scripting, and participate in 24x7 support rotations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5–7 years of experience as a MongoDB DBA (Replica sets & Sharded clusters)
  • Strong knowledge of performance tuning, backup/recovery, and Linux scripting
  • Experience with Agile/DevOps environments and ability to work independently or lead when needed
