As a program leader, you will oversee the execution of software engineering initiatives and projects.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and internal business teams to ensure understanding of priorities, execution visibility, project delivery, and achievement of targeted outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Strategy and Planning
  • Develop and manage the scope, goals, and roadmap of software projects.
  • Lead project-level planning and prioritization in collaboration with engineering and product leadership.
  • Collaborative Execution
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple software development teams and technical team members.
  • Facilitate milestone planning and progress tracking.
  • Ensure cross-team understanding, visibility, and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Delivery Management
  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and objectives.
  • Promote delivery excellence through adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Resolve delivery blockers, manage interdependencies, and escalate.
  • Team member Communication
  • Promote communication between engineering, product, and team members.
  • Provide detailed updates on status, risks, and project decisions to all levels, including executives.
  • Align all team members around important outcomes and delivery expectations.
  • Risk and Issue Management
  • Manage project issues.
  • Maintain risk mitigation plans and contingency strategies.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in project or program management in software engineering or related technical field.
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, SAFe, or equivalent.
