Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer II to join our Advertising Billing team.

This role will involve designing and building scalable systems to manage advertising efforts across various ad products in the Amazon Advertising portfolio.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team to create software that meets the needs of our customers and stakeholders, ensuring it is stable, secure, and accessible.

The Campaign Management team plays a crucial role in capturing inputs for advertisers to control their advertising efforts. In this position, you will contribute to solving complex problems related to concurrent workflows, distributed systems, big data, and performance optimization using AWS services like ECS, Fargate, EC2, EMR, Lambda, Kafka, Elastic Search, Dynamo DB, SQS, SNS, Cloud watch, CDK, and Cloud Formation.

About This Role:

  • Built scalable systems to manage complex advertising workflows.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to design and build software solutions.
  • Solved challenging problems related to concurrency, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
  • Utilized AWS services such as ECS, Fargate, EC2, EMR, Lambda, Kafka, Elastic Search, Dynamo DB, SQS, SNS, Cloud watch, CDK, and Cloud Formation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in cloud-based systems.
  • Strong understanding of concurrency, distributed systems, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with AWS services and tools such as ECS, Fargate, EC2, EMR, Lambda, Kafka, Elastic Search, Dynamo DB, SQS, SNS, Cloud watch, CDK, and Cloud Formation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
