We are seeking an experienced backend developer to fill a key position within our engineering team.

As a critical member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and building high-quality backend systems using PHP and Magento technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build and maintain scalable PHP microservices, Magento & Codeigniter applications and APIs that drive our backend business logic and integrations.
  • Develop and enhance end-to-end automation for build, test, and deployment using GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI, enabling zero-downtime releases.
  • Implement and maintain dashboards/alerts in Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch or similar tools to ensure 24/7 visibility into system health.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our network and application infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with frontend and product teams, conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers and help define engineering standards.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years experience building production-grade Magento and PHP applications.
  • Hands-on experience building scalable, automated pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) with testing, linting and blue-green/rolling deployments.
  • Experience setting up dashboards/alerts (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch).
  • Strong understanding of network and application security principles.
  • Ability to design solutions that prioritize performance, resilience and cost-effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in fast-paced environments.
