Senior Financial Manager

This role involves driving the USGAAP Close processes for a legal entity, ensuring end-to-end legal entity ledger accounts close and finalization. You will lead local statutory audits, preparing statutory financial statements in compliance with Ind-AS. Experience in end-to-end legal entity level accounts finalization as per IFRS/Ind AS accounting standards is essential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax accounting, withholding tax, regular tax compliance, transfer pricing, CbyC report, GST and other tax compliances. They should also possess excellent knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Ind-AS.
Responsibilities- Own and drive the month and quarter-end USGAAP Close processes for a legal entity.
- Lead local statutory audits including preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with Ind-AS.
- Assess risks over accounts and areas of responsibility.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain account reconciliations consistent with GAAP and corporate accounting policies to ensure close timelines are met.
- Research and document company position on technical accounting issues.
- Support compliance and improve processes and internal controls in the area of responsibility.
- Stay current on evolving Accounting Standards pronouncements and updates under prevailing regulatory bodies in the region.
