Job Description

The Financial Operations Manager is a critical role responsible for overseeing the company's financial management, accounting compliance, and strategic support.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports to senior management. Analyze financial data to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor cash flow, investments, and cash forecasting. Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce financial risks.

Accounting Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local tax regulations. Maintain strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Timely and accurately file all Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns. Handle GST audits, assessments, and departmental notices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Strategic Support:

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with senior management on financial planning and risk management.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff. Ensure continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
