We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Engineering Manager to lead our technical direction on a scalable data platform in clinical oncology or healthcare domain. The tech stack includes AWS, Python, Terraform, and AI.

As a Cloud Data Engineering Manager, you will oversee the design and implementation of modular, flexible, secure, and reliable data systems that scale with business needs.

  • Lead Research and Development: Direct research, proof of concept, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of data solutions.
  • Design and Implement: Develop and implement cloud-native data platforms using advanced skills in AWS and EKS.
  • Instrumentation and Monitoring: Integrate pipeline observability to detect and resolve issues proactively.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Develop tools and processes to debug, optimize, and maintain production systems.
  • Reduce Tech Debt: Identify and address legacy inefficiencies to improve performance and maintainability.
  • Documentation and Governance: Maintain clear documentation of data models, transformations, and pipelines to ensure security and governance compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor engineering teams to ensure operational efficiency and innovation.
