Job Opportunity:

Conduct thorough social audits to ensure compliance with international labor standards, and analyze results to identify areas of improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Social Audits:
    • Evaluate and assess the social performance of facilities and suppliers.
    • Carry out comprehensive audits to ensure compliance with international labor standards.
  • Communicate Findings:
    • Present audit findings to management and stakeholders.
    • Develop recommendations for improving social compliance.
  • Maintain Expertise:
    • Stay up-to-date with international labor standards and best practices in social compliance.
    • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Degree in Law, HR, Occupational Health and Safety or Environment preferred.
    • Advanced degree is an asset.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in social compliance & CTPAT auditing preferred.
    • At least 200 social compliance audit days (verifiable) required.
  • Certifications:
    • APSCA Certified Social Compliance Auditor (CSCA) preferred.
    • SA8000 Auditor Certification, RBA, BSCI Certification, Higg or equivalent is a plus.
  • Skillset:
    • Strong business acumen and customer service orientation.
    • Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment with persons of varying socio-economic status.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
