Chief BIM Operations Manager

As a seasoned Chief BIM Operations Manager, you will oversee the successful execution of multiple Architecture, MEP projects from inception to completion. Your ultimate goal is to deliver exceptional project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management and Oversight:

• Leverage your expertise to lead and manage concurrent BIM projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and workflows to optimize project outcomes, emphasizing efficiency and productivity.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams, adhering to established BIM standards and best practices.

• Proactively address project-related challenges and issues, handle QA/QC including Clash Co-ordination, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

2. Client Engagement and Partnership:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships built on trust, reliability, and open communication.

• Attend client meetings to understand their project requirements, provide updates on progress, and address concerns in a timely and professional manner.

• Collaborate with clients to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations, fostering long-term partnerships and growth opportunities.

3. Business Development and Growth:

• Participate in business meetings to contribute to the growth and expansion of BIM services, leveraging industry experience and insights.

• Identify new business opportunities, develop proposals, and showcase advanced BIM capabilities, positioning the organization for success.

• Collaborate with the business development team to win and secure new projects, driving revenue growth and market share expansion.

4. Budget and Timeline Management:

• Exercise oversight of project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to maintain financial viability and optimize ROI.

• Implement cost-effective strategies without compromising project quality or client satisfaction, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Maintain control over project timelines, taking corrective actions to keep projects on schedule and deliver results within agreed-upon deadlines.

5. Best Practices Implementation and Innovation:

• Establish and enforce industry-leading best practices in BIM project management, staying ahead of industry trends and developments.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the BIM team, encouraging experimentation and learning.

• Stay abreast of latest developments in BIM technology and methodologies, incorporating them into project workflows to drive efficiency and excellence.

Must be well versed in BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360.
