Database Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Support Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage and resolve technical issues related to database clusters, ensuring timely resolution and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Diagnose query performance issues, configuration errors, and hardware faults, performing root-cause analysis and documenting permanent fixes.
  • Evaluate and escalate complex issues to administrators or architects when necessary.
  • Maintain and update support documentation and runbooks, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Monitor SLAs and provide timely updates to stakeholders, fostering strong customer relationships.
Requirements:
  • At least 6 years of experience in a database support role, with a solid understanding of Linux troubleshooting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with ClickHouse, including SQL tuning and query profiling, is essential.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems, such as Jira or ServiceNow, is required.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset and clear written communication skills are vital for success in this role.

Please note that we are looking for someone with hands-on experience in ClickHouse who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and has excellent problem-solving skills.
