Database Administration and Development Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator and Developer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases using SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of database administration, design, and maintenance for SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB, as well as experience with database migrations and deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement databases using SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Ensure databases are properly maintained, including backups and restores.
  • Manage deployments and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure database security.
  • Manage database migrations between servers and versions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with databases.
  • Work with vendor support on any issues that require their assistance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to databases.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure system availability and performance.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a DBA, with a focus on SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Excellent knowledge of database administration, design, and maintenance for SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with database migrations and deployments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
