Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Cloud Virtualization Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, virtualization, and system administration.

  • Cloud Virtualization: Design, implement, and manage cloud virtualization environments using OpenShift.
  • System Administration: Administer and maintain Windows Servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Network Management: Strong understanding of networking principles and practices, with experience in managing network infrastructure.
  • Storage Management: Knowledge and management of storage systems and technologies, including PV and PVC in OpenShift.
  • Server Management: Experience in installing, racking, and stacking bare metal servers, including DELL and HP ProLiant.
  • Virtual Machine Management: Deploy, operate, decommission, and migrate virtual machines (V2V and P2V), ensuring seamless integration with OpenShift and VMware.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and processes, while working closely with other IT teams to ensure smooth operation of systems.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing cloud virtualization environments using OpenShift.
  • Administering and maintaining Windows Servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Managing network infrastructure, including routing, switching, and firewall configuration.
  • Implementing and managing storage systems and technologies, including PV and PVC in OpenShift.
  • Installing, racking, and stacking bare metal servers, including DELL and HP ProLiant.
  • Migrating and operating virtual machines (V2V and P2V), ensuring seamless integration with OpenShift and VMware.

Requirements:
