Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative medical device hardware.

Your primary focus will be on creating high-quality PCB designs that meet the requirements of our medical devices. You will work closely with our embedded engineers to ensure smooth hardware-software integration and collaborate with our manufacturing teams to ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles are applied.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from conceptualization to production. You will be responsible for selecting optimal components, ensuring cost-effectiveness and availability, and developing and testing PCB prototypes to ensure performance aligns with product specifications.

As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will also be responsible for performing hardware debugging and troubleshooting to resolve design issues and optimize system performance. You will conduct failure analysis, root cause analysis, and component selection reviews to enhance hardware reliability and ensure designs meet medical device safety and regulatory standards.

You will maintain comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, layout files, Bill of Materials (BOM), and technical reports. You will contribute to risk management, FMEA, and validation processes to ensure product safety and quality.

Finally, you will stay updated with the latest advancements in PCB technologies, materials, and industry best practices, and participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance team-wide design quality.
