Job Title:

A highly skilled Electronic Circuit Design Specialist is required to provide technical expertise in designing and optimizing electronic circuit designs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving circuit design, reliability, schedule, and cost issues at internal or external fabricators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics
  • Generate detailed fabrication drawings of circuits and netlists
  • Create hardware design documents covering design analysis, notes, and guidelines followed
  • Architect, design, and develop high-performance/bandwidth electronic circuits
  • Perform circuit layout for analog, digital, and RF circuit boards through fabrication and assembly drawings generation
  • Ensure seamless transfer of schematic net-list design, ID, and ME design into physical circuit design considering electrical considerations such as signal integrity, power integrity, ID, mechanical integrity, EMC-EMI, safety, manufacturing industry spec, and end-user usability requirements
  • Create and manage circuit documentation including fabrication and assembly drawings, netlists
  • Coordinate and approve circuit layout
  • Prepare BOM and fabrication documentation and follow revision control procedures
  • Bring up and test circuits and auxiliary electronics
  • Develop circuit layout concepts aligning with products involving efficient manufacturing processes

Qualifications:

Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, design, electronics engineering, embedded system engineering, ECE, or ETC

Desired Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience using two or more electronic circuit designing tools from the list given below
  • Familiarity with KiCAD, ISIS, ARES, Allegro, or similar industry-standard tools
  • Familiarity with circuit failure modes and reliability in extreme environments and ability to resolve issues arising from these
  • Excellent knowledge of circuit manufacturing processes and circuit materials
  • Strong knowledge of digital and analog circuit design fundamentals
  • Strong logic/board debug and analytical skills
