Senior Data Engineer

About This Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the data engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality data solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement highly scalable data models and data marts for data ingestion, standardization, and data processing.
  • Collaborate with product owners, data analysts, and business partners to improve overall architecture, frameworks, and patterns for processing and storing large data volumes.
  • Design and implement distributed data processing pipelines using tools and languages prevalent in the data warehousing ecosystem.
  • Develop data validation and audit processes for quality control.
  • Implement complex automated routines using workflow orchestration tools.
  • Work with geographically diverse teams to identify technical bottlenecks and provide efficient solutions that adhere to unified data model standards.
  • Drive the implementation of new data projects and optimize existing solutions.
  • Operationalize ML models in production environments in collaboration with ML Scientists.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, especially data infrastructure and data engineering.
  • Strong experience with Python & RDBMS like PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, high-volume software systems and components.
  • Experience with cloud environments like AWS and Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse solutions.
  • Experience putting ML models through production incorporate environments.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and infrastructures.
