Structural Analysis Engineer

As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and integrity of complex facilities across various industries. Your expertise in structural analysis and design will be instrumental in making informed decisions that impact the success of our projects.

Job Description

This role is responsible for the end-to-end design, analysis, and integrity management of structures. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of designs and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.

Your primary focus will be on performing advanced structural analysis and design for both reinforced concrete and steel structures, including pipe racks, platforms, foundations, and buildings. You will also be responsible for conducting comprehensive in-place, fatigue, seismic, and blast analysis for both onshore and offshore structures.

In addition, you will develop detailed engineering deliverables, including technical specifications, calculation reports, and engineering drawings. You will utilize advanced engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, SACS, ABAQUS, or ANSYS to perform structural analysis, simulation, and 3D modeling.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in a high-risk industry, preferably in oil and gas, petrochemicals, or energy
  • Proven experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects, covering all project phases from FEED to commissioning
Technical Expertise
  • Analysis and Design: Expertise in the design of complex structures (concrete and steel), dynamic analysis of equipment foundations, fatigue, seismic, and blast-resistant design
  • Codes and Standards: In-depth knowledge of international codes, including API (2A, 1104, etc.), AISC, ASME, and other relevant standards
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced user of structural analysis and design software such as STAAD.Pro, SACS, ABAQUS, or ANSYS

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical issues to multidisciplinary teams and clients
