Job Summary

The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for gaining a deep understanding of the retail business objectives and staff-related challenges. This role involves creating strategic recommendations based on this understanding.

This individual will act as the main point of contact for staffs and sales teams, driving governance on human resource metrics such as staffing, retention, engagement, and cost for the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • 1. Drive HR Metrics Governance: Responsible for analyzing and improving human resource metrics such as staffing, retention, engagement, and cost for the business.
  • 2. Engage with Regional Managers/Territory Managers: Work closely with regional managers/territory managers on recruitment, compensation, and employee relations.
  • 3. Operate Independently: Ensure employee satisfaction and development of the team, operate independently to drive HR initiatives and best practices.
  • 4. Train & Mentor: Train, mentor, and lead HR initiatives and best practices for the team.
  • 5. Interact with Store Staff: Directly interact with store staff, implement change initiatives related to culture, performance, recognition, and policies.
  • 6. HR Operations: Responsible for HR operations, induction, performance management, employee relations, and exit process.
  • 7. Coach Individual Managers: Coach individual managers on growing management/leadership capabilities.
  • 8. Own/Drive HR Policies: Own/drive HR policies and directives, ensuring smooth implementation across the organization.
  • 9. Travel for Meetings: Should be able to travel across the country for staff meetings.
Qualifications
  • 3-6 years' retail relationship experience.
  • Ability to manage big teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Hindi and English.
