Video Editing Role

At Verona, we are seeking an experienced Video Editor to join our team and contribute to the creation of compelling video content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing long-form and short-form videos, with experience in films, short films, or documentaries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Editing engaging content across various formats for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and more.
  • Collaborating closely with the content and production team to bring stories to life through video.
  • Executing seamless transitions, sound syncing, and pacing to retain viewer attention.
  • Handling post-production tasks including color correction, sound design, and visual effects.
  • Integrating text overlays, music, SFX, and B-roll to enrich storytelling.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Abode After Effects, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and timing in video editing.
  • Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and visual effects.
  • Attention to detail and creativity in crafting visually appealing and engaging videos.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 2-3 years of experience in video editing, particularly in short films, long-form content, or documentaries.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of edited video work, including both short and long formats.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and adhering to tight deadlines.
