Design Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for planning and designing complex telecommunications networks in the North America region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and experience working with various network design scenarios, including Outside Plant Design, fibre plan and design experience. You should also have hands-on experience with ATT applications such as ARAMIS DT/WALDO/IQ GEO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and design telecommunications networks in the North America region
  • Develop and implement network design strategies that meet ATT specifications and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2-8 years of experience in telecommunications design
  • Strong knowledge of ATT specifications and standards
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
