About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional groups, including product managers, developers, and senior designers to deliver exceptional end-to-end experiences for our products. Your primary focus will be on understanding problem areas, discussing innovative solutions, and guiding junior designers to craft delightful user experiences.
A significant aspect of your day will involve contributing to the design system by refining, maintaining, and enforcing design guidelines and strategies. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor junior designers, helping them grow and develop their skills.
Daily Responsibilities
- Develop products that align with our design principles and guidelines.
- Effectively communicate with engineering teams to ensure seamless design implementation.
- Identify and document information architecture, user personas, and journey maps.
- Collaborate with product managers and other designers to collect user feedback and enhance the product experience.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to drive improvements.
- Evolve the design system to accommodate future products and platforms.
- Design visually cohesive styles and patterns consistent with Innovaccer's overall aesthetic.
- Partner with product managers throughout the design and development process to run experiments, analyze findings, and validate potential product changes.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product design with expertise in both UX and UI.
- A strong ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and prioritize user experience.
- Solid intuition and a passion for detailed interaction design.
- Exceptional visual design skills, particularly with an eye for system-level details.
- Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
