Academic Leadership Position

We are seeking a seasoned academic leader to fill the role of Headmistress Pre-Primary. As a key member of our school's leadership team, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the instructional programs of our Pre Primary school.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how children learn, as well as awareness of academic changes and an approach to learning that fosters growth and development. They will be able to challenge students and teachers to bring out their best while maintaining a positive and child-centered approach.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and visionary educator who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate lesson plans and observe classes on a regular basis to encourage the use of a variety of instructional strategies and materials consistent with research on learning and child growth and development.
  • Supervise and lead the instructional programs of the Pre Primary school.
  • Develop and implement curriculum review and planning processes.
  • Ensure student assessment processes are aligned with the school's academic goals.
  • Conduct parent-teacher meetings and communicate effectively with parents and staff.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in any subject, preferably English, Science, or Social Sciences.
  • Professional teaching degree from a recognized University (B Ed/MEd).
  • Proficiency in technology and language skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with policies of the CBSE board; experience with other boards welcome.
