Structured Finance Investment Professional

The primary responsibility would involve working closely with clients to understand their investment needs in the structured finance space.

This role plays an important part in client onboarding, monitoring, and risk management for institutional clients. The individual will be involved in researching and reviewing various financial and legal agreements as well as monitoring and reporting key metrics of investments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Onboarding: Review and interpret legal agreements, understand servicer or trustee reporting, and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Risk Monitoring: Work closely with clients to support risk and exposure monitoring of transactions, including calculation and tracking of covenants, concentration limits, and other key metrics.
  • Operational Support: Assist/lead daily operations of workstreams, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Process Improvement: Liaise with the Business Analyst and Implementation team to standardize and streamline processes, increasing efficiency and setting up SOPs and processes around deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Broad understanding of Structured Finance products, corporate credit landscape, ABL, CLO, Middle Market Portfolio Financing.
  • In-depth knowledge of core financial and accounting concepts.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel.
  • Understanding of financial databases, including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
