Quality Assurance Expert

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of quality across design, development, and delivery.

The Role

  • You'll work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to embed quality into every stage of the lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in feature design, story refinement, and risk assessment from the outset.
  • Review and contribute to user stories, acceptance criteria, and BDD scenarios.
  • Conduct a wide range of testing: exploratory, regression, security, cross-browser, accessibility, and API testing.
  • Raise clear and concise defects, providing actionable reporting.
  • Support release cycles through smoke testing and stakeholder demos.
  • Contribute to test automation strategies using tools like Cucumber and Cypress.
  • Continuously improve QA processes and champion quality best practices.

About You

  • You have proven experience in web and API testing.
  • Strong background in exploratory testing with clear reporting skills.
  • Familiarity with agile practices like BDD, TDD, Three Amigos, Example/Event Mapping.
  • Knowledge of UX, UI, accessibility, performance, and security testing.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira Zephyr, Postman/Insomnia, BrowserStack, and browser debugging tools.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to financial systems testing.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks (Cucumber, Cypress).
