Operations Assistant - R&D Team Member

Job Description

The Operations Assistant will work closely with a global team to ensure objectives and timelines are met. Key responsibilities include identifying gaps in processes, suggesting resolution options with corrective action plans, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

The assistant will deal effectively with complexity and ambiguity when interfacing with partners, understanding and adjusting to changing situations and problems as they arise.

Timely escalation of issues that would impact agreed plans is crucial.

A quality mind with 'Right First Time' practice is essential by following documented procedures and good documentation practices.

The Operations Assistant will actively contribute to process improvements/ways of working and elevate our compliance standards.

Awareness, accountability, and adherence to relevant Reckitt Quality Management Standards are mandatory.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential skills include science-based degrees, experience in R&D or Regulatory environments, working with data systems (TDS, databases), excellent attention to detail, accuracy under pressure, results-oriented self-motivation, planning organizational capabilities, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication & interpersonal skills, ability to develop positive collaborative relationships, system-savviness, broad knowledge of computerised systems, database management, and reporting applications are also required.

Strong analytical skills: aptitude to analyse and understand data in various forms, provide both detailed and synthetic reporting, and experience handling data (creating databases, PowerApps, PBi) are highly valued.

Experience in FMCG or related industry, particularly with Reckitt types of products (preferred not essential), is desirable.
