Automation Engineer Associate Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and on-time delivery of test planning, test data preparation, and execution activities.

You will work closely with our QE Manager to coordinate test execution activities, build and maintain automation for critical business applications, and create effective execution plans with maximum coverage.

Responsibilities:
  • Leads and coordinates test execution activities.
  • Builds and maintains automation for critical business applications.
  • Creates and executes test scripts in test management tools and reports bugs.
  • Determines priority for test cases and creates effective execution plans.
  • Participates in PI and Sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Tracks and reports automation progress as per PI plan.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in system quality environment.
  • 2-4 years of experience in QE - Test Automation.
  • 2-4 years of experience in automation of mobile app testing with Appium.
  • 2-4 years of experience in REST API testing (Manual/Automation using Postman).
  • Experience in programming language preferably Java.
  • Good experience in SQL.
  • Experience in accessibility testing and automating accessibility checks.
  • Experience in developing custom automation solutions and functions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in web automation using other automation tools and frameworks.
  • Codeless automation tools experience.
  • Experience in implementation of CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins/Azure DevOps.
