Senior Lead Engineer Job Overview

Majesco seeks a highly skilled Senior Lead Engineer to drive the development of high-quality software solutions. As a key team member, you will be responsible for designing and deploying scalable and secure software applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering principles, cloud technologies, DevOps, and agile methodologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify project scope, estimate timelines, and create approaches and designs for features/epics.

  • Develop quality software by applying software engineering best practices.
  • Emphasize first-time-right, automation, reusability, maintainability, and secure coding in everyday work.
  • Design holistic development approaches using test-driven development to ensure reusability and extensibility of capabilities in future versions.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget. They will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java, .Net, Oracle, SQL, and web services software architecture and design (REST/SOAP).
  • Experience in RESTful webservices and API framework, OAS3 APIs.
  • Exposure to cloud applications including DevOps, Deployment, Jenkins, Jira.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master's degree a plus.
