About the Role:

As a seasoned eCommerce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.

This is a full-time remote position that requires 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in coding for theme customization and performance optimization. Your expertise should include automation tools like Zapier, Make.com, or n8n to connect systems and streamline workflows.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional coding skills with Liquid, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with theme development and customization.
  • Strong understanding of site performance, speed, and user experience optimization.
  • Ability to create integrations across Shopify, CRM, fulfillment, analytics, and marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices including structured data, page speed improvements, and clean URL structures.

In this role, you will work closely with the marketing and analytics teams to optimize conversion tracking and implement advanced tracking solutions (GA4, server-side tagging, attribution tools) for accurate data reporting. You will also evaluate, install, and maintain third-party apps and Shopify Plus features as needed, troubleshoot integration and functionality issues, and partner with teams to align store functionality with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in eCommerce development at a brand doing $2M+ in annual revenue.
