It has deployed modular, Scope 1 carbon emissions-free recycling facilities for lithium (nickel-manganese-cobalt & lithium iron phosphate) and lead batteries used in various industries including electronics, automotive and energy storage.

Role: Senior Chemist (Analytics / R&D)

Education:

  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field, with Chemistry as a compulsory/core subject.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in R&D roles preferably in hydrometallurgy, battery recycling, mining or carbon materials industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan the execution of assigned tasks by completing R&D correctly the first time.
  • Perform battery material recycling R&D according to current strategy, product specifications and laboratory processes.
  • Support Team Leader to process development in laboratory, pilot facility and 3rd party labs to identify efficient process technologies.
  • Monitor process consistency and adjust parameters where needed.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety, environmental and lab protocols.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of R&D experience in chemical labs preferably in hydrometallurgy, battery recycling, mining or carbon materials industries.
  • Technical expertise related to inorganic chemistry. Strong research and documentation skills.
  • Ability to grasp processes and lab practices to execute R&D tasks independently.
  • Encourage and stimulate new ideas and process improvements.
