Senior Printed Circuit Board Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PCB Design Engineer with solid experience in Schematic and Layout design, Validation, board bring up and debugging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design multilayer PCB layouts up to 6-12 layers in mixed signal design.
  • Experience with High-speed Mixed signals, HDI Boards.
  • Handle BGAs with Blind and buried via techniques.
  • Knowledge on latest interfaces like USB, ETHERNET, CAN, etc.
  • Minimize EMI/EMC problems.
  • Perform DFM & DFA Analysis, Gerber & ODB++ checking.
  • Familiar with IPC standards.
  • Expertise in schematic designing, symbols, and PCB footprint approvals.
  • Proficient in Allegro tool for schematic design entry.
  • Conduct schematic and PCB layout reviews for internal and customer projects.
  • Develop PCB vendors and coordinate manufacturing-related issues.
  • Perform board bring-ups, debugging, and testing.
  • Preferred experience with UART, I2C, LCD, SPI, QSPI, CSI2, CAN communication.
  • Approve BOMs and releases.
  • Select components for schematic designs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in design/code reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of 10+ successful production-level PCBs in the market.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Interact with third-party vendors and review their work.
  • Good knowledge of industrial PCB design tools and flow.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics and Communication.
