Job Title: Embedded Systems Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop power electronics systems, including battery management interfaces, to ensure high efficiency and reliability.
  • Create system hardware architecture and component specifications for high-voltage battery systems, considering thermal management and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering aspects.
  • Guide printed circuit board (PCB) layout for high-power designs, ensuring EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management.
  • Validate and test prototypes in lab and vehicle environments, adhering to automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.
  • Select and integrate components, including microcontrollers (MCUs), analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), operational amplifiers (op-amps), shunt resistors, Hall-effect sensors, and isolation devices.
  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD, aligning with automotive standards.
Required Skills:
  • Power electronics systems design and development.
  • High-voltage battery systems expertise.
  • Experience with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100).
  • Proficiency in PCB design and layout tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCAD).
  • Strong understanding of thermal management and EMI/EMC principles.
