Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Supplier Development Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving supplier development, managing global transitions, and ensuring high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new product introductions, vendor evaluations, and cost reduction initiatives with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supplier strategies.
  • Manage end-to-end supplier transitions, including qualification, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for major supplier quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, quality, operations, engineering, and procurement teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills. Key qualifications include:

  • 13+ years of experience in supplier development, strategic sourcing, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive change and influence others.
  • Techno-commercial background, with experience in zero-based costing.
  • Advanced Quality Engineering Practices and experience with quality assurance processes.
