Portfolio Manager Job Description

This is a highly specialized role that involves managing investment portfolios for individuals and organizations. The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies, making informed decisions about asset allocation, and ensuring that the portfolio meets its performance objectives.

Key Requirements:
  • Corporate entity with necessary infrastructure, including office space, equipment, and personnel;
  • Compliance officer appointed to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements;
  • Principal officer possessing professional qualifications in law, finance, accountancy, or business management, or completion of the CFA program;
  • At least five years of experience in related activities within the securities market, including portfolio management, stockbroking, investment advice, research analysis, or fund management positions;
  • NISM XXI-B certification obtained;
  • Graduate degree holder with two years of experience in related activities within the securities market, including portfolio management, stockbroking, investment advice, research analysis, or fund management positions;

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They should also have a strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and regulations.
