The Role:
Sr. Manager Business Applications: As a Sr. Manager of Business Apps team, you will lead a team managing a portfolio of applications for the business. You will work with business stakeholders to understand needs, prioritize, create a roadmap, and manage implementation through multiple releases. The team consists of developers skilled in full-stack development.
Your responsibilities will include collaborating with senior-level stakeholders across IT and multiple business teams, fostering a customer-centric organization culture, and contributing to process maturation across IT and the enterprise. You will also oversee day-to-day requirements and relationships with business teams, providing thoughtful and pragmatic leadership to the IT application team.
You will establish the bridge between the business and technical teams according to project needs, representing the business to the delivery team. Your role will involve negotiating with customers on sprint requirements, scope changes, and project deadlines. You will establish partnerships with procurement, technology, and SI vendors, building strong relationships to support business and IT objectives.
You will be responsible for verifying the efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems and developing strategies for improvement. You will examine software products to ensure they meet end-user demands and provide cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses for IT Systems. You will assess value and develop proposals and business cases for new capability requests, prioritizing against existing demand for delivery on key projects.
