Data-Driven Business Operations Lead

We are seeking a Data-Driven Business Operations Lead to join our Transportation Team in Hyderabad. This role is perfect for a passionate professional who will be responsible for working with businesses to provide insights that enable better auditing of the Transportation charges received by Amazon.

About the Role
This role requires a self-starter who is comfortable working with large complex datasets, possesses strong analytical skills, and is an effective communicator. Cross-team coordination and collaboration skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Develop data sources and metrics to support product, tech, and operational teams
- Create easy-to-consume reporting and visualizations to influence change and deliver against key business goals
An ideal candidate for this role:
- Has relevant experience in data analytics working with large data sets and extracting and transforming data using various tools and technologies
- Transforms data into actionable business information and makes it readily accessible to stakeholders worldwide
- Uses data to support ideas, drive actionable outcomes, and provide unique ways to present data and information in an easy-to-consume format
- Is passionate about finding root causes, trends, and patterns and how they impact business
- Drawing inferences and conclusions, creating dashboards and visualizations of processed data
- Has excellent business and communication skills to work with operations owners to understand key business questions and build reports that enable product owners to answer those questions quickly and accurately
- Thrives in an agile and fast-paced environment on highly visible projects and initiatives
- 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
- 3+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience
- Experience with Excel
- 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst, or similar role experience
