IT Support Specialist

The role entails delivering technical assistance to users of client software by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems or requests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical assistance for clients by resolving technical issues and addressing inquiries.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
  • Utilizes the IT Service Management system to review and respond to support requests.
  • Escalates urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to internal resources or vendors.
  • Relies on established guidelines to perform job functions.
  • Interacts with clients to understand business perspectives.
  • Collaborates with clients to reproduce reported issues in test environments and reports those issues to the development team or application vendor.
  • Performs maintenance of existing custom software, including end-user support.
  • Monitors performance of applications after implementation.
  • Communicates status and issues to supervisor.

Service Desk Support Services:

  • Password resets.
  • Add/Remove O365 licenses.
  • Fix broken mapped network drives.
  • Add/remove PC user (Local/Domain).
  • Operating systems.
  • Add printers (Local and Networked)
  • Install client-side software.
  • Troubleshoot client-side network connection
  • Office 365 troubleshooting
  • Setup email on mobile devices.
  • Adding, updating, and maintaining client run book service information as needed.

Incoming Service Desk Email Response:

  • Create tickets and collect basic client information.
  • Company information.
  • User.
  • Issue.
  • Who's affected.
