Job Title: Automation Quality Assurance Expert

As an Automation Quality Assurance Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of software applications by designing, developing and executing test plans and cases based on user stories and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation Script Development: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline processes and enhance the overall efficiency of the team.
  • Test Artifacts Creation: Create detailed test artifacts such as test strategies, test cases, traceability matrices and test coverage metrics.
  • Requirement Analysis: Analyze business requirements and design test plans and scripts for new components, customer-facing solutions and integrations.
  • Test Design and Execution: Design, develop and execute manual and automated test plans and cases based on user stories and specifications.

Testing: Perform both manual and automated testing including functional, system, integration, regression and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Defect Management: Document detailed defects and bugs, monitor their resolution and perform post-resolution testing.

Functional, Regression and Integration Testing: Showcase skills in functional, regression and integration testing to protect the system from functionality issues.

Quality Focus: Emphasize QA and UAT testing within the software development lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve automated tests as product features and enhancements are developed.

CI/CD Experience: Experience in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipeline processes, automated build and test systems.

API Testing: Hands-on experience with test automation of APIs (SOAP and REST services).

Time Estimation: Provide accurate time estimations for manual and automation QA efforts.

Quality Maintenance: Maintain high-quality manual and automated scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with developers, testing teams and other stakeholders in a geographically distributed team.

Defect Management: Identify problems, document and manage defects.

Reporting: Report and present test results and demos to internal teams.

Experience and Skills: Proficiency in using UiPath for test automation, data-driven testing, integration with ALM tools, mock testing, activity coverage and continuous testing. Knowledge of Selenium and/or QTP/UFT is an advantage.
