Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Backend Developer cum Tester who embodies the ethos of "dev owns quality" and excels in collaborative teamwork.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely within and across teams to ensure the seamless functioning of one or more critical backend modules with exposed interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality, scalable, and secure backend systems.
  • Demonstrate expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Develop automation tests, including unit tests and integration tests for regression testing.
  • Work with version control systems like GitLab or Jenkins.
  • Set up Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Strong programming skills in Python and Django.
  • Experience with database management systems like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with message buses, multi-threading, and thread synchronization.
  • Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
