Provider Credentialing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled provider credentialing specialist to support the timely and accurate submission of provider applications, facilitate smooth onboarding, and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provider Enrollment & Application Management
  • Manage end-to-end provider enrollment processes with expertise.
  • Complete high volumes of provider applications across various specialties and payer types accurately.
  • Ensure timely and efficient submission of completed applications to relevant entities.
  • Track application statuses and proactively follow up on outstanding items to expedite approval.
Welcome Kit Generation & Contract Loading:
  • Generate comprehensive Welcome Kits for new providers, including necessary documentation and information.
  • Accurately and efficiently load provider contracts into designated systems, capturing all terms and conditions correctly.
Application Portal Expertise:
  • Experience creating and managing accounts within key healthcare application portals.
  • Familiarity with CAQH, Medicaid, Medicare (PECOS), and NPI portals.
Communication & Responsiveness:
  • Maintain professionalism and responsiveness in email communications.
  • Promptly address queries and provide clear, concise information to internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance & Confidentiality:
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient and provider information.
  • Ensure all credentialing activities comply with federal, state, and organizational guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Docs.
  • Excellent Typing Skills.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge of Computer Usage and Navigation.
