Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Affairs Policy, Monitoring, Advocacy, and Advisory Manager to spearhead strategic initiatives, engage with regulatory bodies, and drive policy advocacy efforts for Hero Motocorp.
About the Role
- Policy Development: Research, analyze, and develop policy proposals in alignment with the company's objectives, keeping abreast of relevant regulations and industry developments.
- Advocacy and Engagement: Engage with government bodies, industry associations, and stakeholders to advocate for favorable policies and represent the company's interests in discussions, forums, and consultations.
- Advisory Role: Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, analyze their impact on the company, provide strategic advice and guidance to senior management on policy implications, potential risks, and opportunities in regulatory environments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including legal, Comms & CSR, Investor relations, and finance, to align policy initiatives and advocacy efforts with business goals.
Requirements
- Academic Qualification: Bachelors degree in Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Law, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. MBA preferred.
- Industry Experience: Extensive experience within the automotive industry, corporate affairs, or public policy. Auto Industry experience is a must.
- Technical Skills: Excellent Project Management, Policy Analysis, Research and Analytics, Customer Relationship Management, Good knowledge of MS Office. Understanding of the Indian media landscape.
