Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the backend of Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) and Standard Transport Management (TM) User Interface with custom fields
  • Modify and create data in TM module through ABAP using BOPF model
  • Integrate TM with Global Trade Service (GTS) and Enterprise Model (EM) and develop enhancements in EM
  • Work with Process Integration to enhance standard services with additional data and map standard fields to service enhancements
  • Have hands-on experience integrating REST and SOAP APIs into TM
  • Design and develop ABAP programs in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments
  • Perform code review, unit testing, and technical specification review
  • Be proficient in Clean core frameworks and development methodology
  • Understand functional domains like finance and OTC
  • Experience performing code review, testing, and troubleshooting issues
  • Knowledge of Common Data Service (CDS) view, OData, and Remote Function Call (RAP)
  • Proficiency in ABAP and hands-on development skills
  • ABAP Screen Programming Technology like Module Pool Programming, Report Form Screen Programming, Web Dynpro
  • Enhancement Technologies like Business Add-In (BAPI), User exits, Enhancement Frameworks
  • Interface Technologies like ALE/IDOC, BAPIs, Webservices
  • Forms Technologies like Smart forms, Adobe forms, SAP Scripts
  • Master Data & Customer Information Collection, Order Management. Planning (Profile & Optimizer based planning), Load Optimization, Freight Order Management, Booking Order Management, Intermodal and Multimodal scenarios, Carrier Selection & Optimization, Tendering, Freight & Forwarding Settlement, TM Conditions and Business Rule Framework+
  • Integrate SAP Extended Warehouse Management (eWM) and SAP Enterprise Model (EM) with SAP TM
  • Hands-on experience on SAP S/4 HANA Embedded Transport Management
