Job Title: Data Insights Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our team in delivering high-quality research projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all phases of quantitative and qualitative research projects, including research design, questionnaire and discussion guide development, data analysis and storytelling.
  • Drive quality control processes at each step of the research lifecycle, from checking survey programming logic, questionnaire proofing, number checking and proofing reports and presentations for accuracy.
  • Partner with internal and external operations teams (programming, fieldwork, facilities, moderators, data processing) to drive projects forward on stringent timelines.
  • Assist with translating data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations through visual, creative and story-driven reports.

Key responsibilities for quantitative projects may include:

  • Proposal writing and research design
  • Drafting, reviewing and formatting survey questionnaires
  • Testing and approving final survey links for accuracy
  • Monitoring soft launches, ensuring data accuracy in Decipher
  • Creating data table specs and monitoring fieldwork progress
  • Analyzing data, developing client reports, and crafting insights-driven stories

In addition, key responsibilities for qualitative projects may include:

  • Proposal writing, research design and guide/stimulus drafting
  • Participant recruitment, re-screens and scheduling
  • Observing research sessions and analyzing transcripts for key insights
  • Creating narrative-driven reports and recommendations for clients

To perform this role successfully, candidates must be proficient in:

  • Office Productivity Tools: Microsoft Office 365 / SharePoint, Apple Workspace Suite, Google Drive / GSuite;
  • Communication Tools: Microsoft Teams, Zoom;
  • Project Management Tools: Asana, Monday.com;
  • Market Research Tools: Decipher (Forsta Surveys), Remesh;
  • AI Tools: ChatGPT, Tactiq.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in areas such as Social Sciences, Psychology, Business, Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Economics or a related field.
