About the Role: A skilled Remote Desktop Support Engineer is required to provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and other peripherals.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to incidents via a ticketing system within Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
  • Perform remote troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Support users across different time zones and ensure minimal downtime.
  • Maintain logs of shift activities and handover reports for continuity.
  • Collaborate with global IT teams for coordinated support.
  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and applications.
  • Respond to user tickets and resolve issues related to Windows, Mac, or Linux environments.
  • Maintain logs of support requests, resolutions, and system updates.
  • Assist in setting up new systems and user accounts.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate unresolved issues.
  • Ensure timely updates and patches for systems and applications.
  • Train users on basic IT procedures and best practices.
  • Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies.
