About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing data pipelines using Java and Spark.

  • Design and implement data pipelines using Java and Spark.
  • Build data pipelines from multiple sources.
  • Perform transformations using Java+spark in data bricks.
  • Create automated workflows with triggers, Scheduled Jobs in Airflow.
  • Design and development of Airflow dags to orchestrate data processing jobs.
  • Ensure timely notifications through email alerts in the event of job failures or critical system issues.
  • Develop code to write logic for data.
  • Interact with customers to understand & gather requirements.
  • Provide technical input to customers for analysis and design work.
  • Support customer queries.

Requirements

The following skills and qualifications are required:

  • Proficiency in Java, including understanding of its ecosystems.
  • Experience in Data Engineering Java and Spark, with a focus on Java.
  • Familiarity with Linux / Linux scripting.
  • Knowledge of transformation and aggregated data from multiple sources.
  • Understanding of performance tuning using Optimization techniques, Caching Data in Memory, Broadcast etc.
  • Azure/Cloud DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipeline.
  • Knowledge of Spark application architecture.
  • Familiarity with deployment pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with git bash.
  • Working knowledge of scrum methodology.
  • Excellent communication skills.
