Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Writer to join our Tamil Lifestyle team. The ideal candidate will bring 10–12 years of professional writing experience, including substantial time spent in print media, and possess a strong background in lifestyle journalism.

This role demands excellent command over the Tamil language and the ability to create engaging, reader-friendly, and impactful lifestyle content across categories such as health, fashion, food, travel, relationships, and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write, edit, and curate high-quality lifestyle stories.
  • Ideate fresh and trending story concepts that resonate with Tamil readers.
  • Adapt long-form print media sensibilities into digital-friendly storytelling formats.
  • Work closely with the editorial team to maintain the highest quality and accuracy standards.
  • Ensure stories are optimized for digital platforms without compromising authenticity and creativity.
Requirements
  • 10–12 years of proven experience in journalism/content writing.
  • At least 5–7 years of experience in covering the lifestyle beat (print or digital).
  • Prior work experience in print media is mandatory.
  • Exceptional command over Tamil language (written and verbal).
  • Strong understanding of audience preferences in lifestyle content.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining creativity and originality.
