Investment Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Analyst to join our team. As an Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for performing in-depth analysis of specific companies or sectors within the stock market, industry trends, and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily technical analysis of major indexes to identify trends and patterns.
  • Analyze financial data and statements to assess company performance and potential.
  • Develop and backtest trading systems to evaluate their performance.
  • Formulate derivative strategies based on open interest and volume trends.
  • Execute live market entry and exit decisions guided by rigorously tested strategies.
  • Produce daily reports for internal and external dissemination.
  • Conduct briefings on technical and derivative trends for the sales team.
  • Prepare weekly reports for individual stocks, assessing their market performance.
  • Create hedging options strategies to mitigate risk exposure.
  • Provide MIS updates on market insights and trends.

Requirements:

  • MBA / PG degree with NISM Certification (Research Analyst)
  • Expertise with Excel, and PowerPoint

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Proficiency in MS Office and research tools

• Knowledge of financial markets and instruments
